Road Transport Rotterdam

ECO Containertrans organises direct road transport from the Rotterdam container terminals as well as export pre-carriage from the European hinterland to the port.

The Port of Rotterdam is directly connected to the Dutch and European motorway network via the A15, enabling flexible container transport between the port and the loading or unloading location without additional handling.

This allows longer distances to be covered efficiently and predictably by freight train, while road transport ensures flexible collection and final delivery.

Inland Waterway Connections Rotterdam

Rotterdam is excellently connected to the European inland waterway network via the Rhine and the Meuse.

The port offers daily inland waterway services to more than 100 destinations across the European hinterland, with transit times ranging from less than one day to around four days, depending on the destination. ECO Containertrans organises container transport by inland waterway from Rotterdam to suitable inland terminals and, if required, also arranges the associated road pre- and onward carriage. ZEEBRUGGE
